DrSpeightsJoanne Speights, DVM

Dr. Speights came to Charlotte from England by way of Texas. That is, although born in England, she considers herself a Texas native as she spent most of her life there. She is a 2000 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Speights joined Clear Creek Animal Hospital in 2003.

She is married and has 2 young sons. She also has 2 dogs, a dalmation named Picaya and Cru, a crazy happy pit bull. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, exercising (so she can keep up with her sons), reading, cooking, and traveling. Dr. Speights enjoys both the medical and surgical aspects of veterinary practice.


DrBamonteKristen Bamonte, DVM

Dr. Bamonte joined Clear Creek Animal Hospital in August of 2005, fresh from graduating from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She left the wonderful Land of Oz to explore the east coast and live closer to her family.

A couple of years into her new Charlotte life she joined a kickball team and met her future husband and fellow animal lover, Justin. They have a beautiful daughter and a Cocker Spaniel diva named Mia. Dr. Bamonte enjoys traveling, reading, running, and cooking (at least trying). Dr. Bamonte favors internal medicine, but is also a fine surgeon.


Dr.-Stone-1Deborah Stone, DVM

Dr. Stone is a 1998 graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Although it must be said she was born and raised in Pittsburgh (Go Steelers!). She and her husband moved to Charlotte in 2005 when she joined Clear Creek Animal Hospital on a part time basis.

When she’s not with us, she is kept busy with her two children! The rest of her family includes a pit bull rescue, a kitty, a bearded dragon lizard, and her son’s hamster named Charlie. Dr. Stone enjoys traveling, reading, ceramics, scrapbooking, and all things craft related!! She enjoys both the medical and surgical aspects of veterinary medicine.


DrSaccoMaggie Sacco, DVM

Dr. Sacco was born and raised in Charlotte and is excited to return to her native city to launch her career with Clear Creek Animal Hospital. She is a recent graduate of North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Pack!). Her professional interests include wellness medicine, ultrasound, neurology and dermatology.

Recently married, Dr. Sacco and her husband love spending time with their 2 dogs, Riley and Sarge, and their polydactyl cat, Giggles. In her spare time, she loves to walk her dogs, paint, cook, and visit the beach.
